FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can I stay whilst you groom my dog?
A: Sorry but I do not offer a waiting facility. I work from a summer house that does not offer a waiting room. It is also very distracting for the groomer and dog for the owner to be present and can make grooming more difficult and unsafe as your dog may attempt to jump off the grooming table to get back to you. For these reasons you would need to leave your dog with me for the duration of the groom - don't worry though, if any problems were to arise I would contact you immediately. I understand it can be a worry to leave your dog but from experience, your dog soon settles and I always handle them with care.

Q: Are there other dogs in the salon when you groom my dog?
Yes sometimes there will be. If you require a one to one groom please let me know and I can arrange this.
Q: My dog has never been groomed before, can you do it?
A: Yes but I recommend to take things slow so the dog can get used to the salon and the equipment. For a first time groom - especially if your dog is nervous - I suggest you book your dog in for a bath, blow dry and tidy up only. Then progress this to a full clip as the dog becomes more familiar with the procedure.
Q: Will you clip nails/claws?
A: Nails are included with a full groom and if you are having a bath and dry only nails are charged at £5. I will only do nails if the dog allows me to and if they are too long (claws should not touch the ground when standing)
Q: How long will my dog need to stay with you?
A: A full groom would normally take around 2 hours but this does vary depending on breed and size. I would usually phone/text your when you dog is 10 minutes from being finished.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Prices are dependent on breed, size, coat condition and temperament to grooming. Please see my pricing page for a guide.

Q: Will you come to my home to groom my dog?
A: No sorry, I do not offer this service.

Q: Can you do a fancy clip/show groom that I have seen?
A: I am always willing to try new styles, contact me to ask!
